Background

I spent eight and a half years at Fusemachines, starting in sales development and working through eight roles to senior data and analytics manager. The title said analytics; the job was project management — running delivery for data teams, and leading the team that built a sales CRM platform from scratch.

Most of my work sits where process meets product: automating data collection across scattered sources, building KPI dashboards people actually open, and getting things over the line with the departments that have to use them.

I'm now at Sanima GIC Insurance, running their move into digital. In three months I've delivered a new website on Next.js with a custom Payload CMS, a premium calculation engine for customers, and the infrastructure it all runs on — self-hosted, and built to Nepal Insurance Authority regulation. Next are internal products for the departments that need them.

Sanima GIC — digital platform

A new public website, solo-built end to end, for a licensed insurer — live at sgic.com.np.

Solo-built and shipped in three months: the Next.js frontend, a custom Payload CMS fitted to how the business actually publishes, self-hosted VPS infrastructure, SEO, Google Analytics instrumentation, and QA. Everything is built against Nepal Insurance Authority regulation, so compliance shaped the requirements from the start instead of arriving as a rewrite at the end. First time administering a VPS myself — I own uptime as well as build.

Insurance premium calculation engine

A public-facing calculator letting customers price a policy themselves.

Solo-built the engine that turns Sanima's rate structure into an answer a customer can get without calling anyone. The hard part is not the arithmetic — it is that the rules are set by the regulator and change, so the calculation has to be auditable and correct rather than merely fast.

Sales CRM platform

An in-house CRM built from scratch, pulling scattered sales data into one place.

Led the team that built it end to end. The product was largely automation and data collection across multiple sources, consolidated into a single system the sales organisation worked out of. DETAIL NEEDED — team size, how long it took, how many people ended up using it, and what it replaced.

Reporting that departments actually opened, and the processes feeding it.

Built the dashboards and the data collection behind them, and ran the process work needed to get departments supplying data in the first place. DETAIL NEEDED — how many departments, what decisions this changed, anything measurable.
